There are a wide range of award and trophy decoration techniques available for creating those extra special crystal engraved trophies and gifts. Recent advances in technology have delivered some amazing innovative new ways to create distinctly unique corporate awards and business gifts.
Below we are going to investigate three of the most popular glass trophy design techniques. At Laser Crystal, our Creative team love combining different decoration techniques to make your awards something exceptional.
Engraved Crystal Awards
Things have moved a long way from a standard surface trophy engraving and now your bespoke design can be engraved in intricate 3D detail. This technique allows you to use the full depth of the glass for your design. So whether you’re looking to engrave a building, vehicle, animal or a product – we can create pretty much anything! Our expert designers love bringing your vision to life in amazing 3D detail, taking 3D glass engraving to a new level.
This glass engraving technique is now a popular choice for high-quality corporate awards where brand image matters.
Every 3D engraved award can be personalised with individual categories, logos or winner names.
Laser Crystal is the U.K.’s leading manufacturer of 3D engraved glass awards. Our leading-edge 3D technology and in house software deliver stunning trophy engraving and we believe the future is 3D.
Colour Print Corporate Awards
We can now add vibrant full colour print to your corporate awards and gifts bringing logos, graphics or 3D trophy engraving to life with stunning colour.
Adding colour print to your awards can create some amazing results, for example, having a colour print on the base of the crystal completely changes the colour appearance of the award.
You can also emboss a logo or add a clear varnish finish to your print to give the glass award texture.
This print technique is perfect if you are looking to create a metallic finish on your design – we can create some fabulous gold, silver or bronze print on your awards.
Opaque Frosted Effect
This technique gives the appearance of an opaque frosting to the front of the crystal using print. It’s a modern stylish look which allows you to decide the level of opaque you want. This technique works really well if you have a full-colour design print on the back which can be seen through the front face. The visual effect is similar to sandblasting; but with a much higher quality and sharper finish.
